Skip size guide
10 Yard Skip Hire
A step up from the 8 yard for bigger clear-outs and trade waste. Around 90 to 110 bin bags of room, best for general waste rather than heavy soil.

The 10 yard skip explained
The 10 yard skip bridges the gap between the builder's skips and the big maxi skips. With capacity for roughly 90 to 110 bin bags it suits large renovations, commercial clear-outs and busy trade jobs that produce a lot of general waste. It gives you noticeably more room than an 8 yard skip without jumping all the way to a 12 yard maxi.
Like the larger maxi skips, the 10 yard is best kept for lighter, bulkier waste rather than dense materials. Soil, concrete and rubble are far better suited to a 6 yard builder's skip, where weight limits are easier to manage. For general builders' waste, fit-out debris and bulky offcuts, the 10 yard is a capable all-rounder. Tell us what you are clearing and we will match you with local providers.
